Options in Life Launched its 2012 Summer Activities Program on Monday 16th July.
We offered young adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to sign up for our program and ran fully supported day trips over the next three months. The first trip was to Blair Drummond Safari Park. The purpose of the program and it’s successor, the recreation programme, includes promoting social inclusion, group activities and helping develop social and life skills.
See Activities for more information.
Well done all. Great effort to get this going. Ihope it goes well.
Well done all on todays trip. Everyone had a great time and the sun even made a show.
Roll on next week and more fun and adventures for these special people.
It was just fantastic to see the smiles on all the faces when everyone got off the bus. Thank you to our Options support staff, and Arlane and her team from Richmond Fellowship, who together made it such a brilliant day for our group of young people.
Thank you very much to the team who organised the various trips not forgetting the support staff. It is wonderful that this group of young adults are having a fantastic time over the summer holidays even though it hasn’t been much of a summer!
