Adult Protection Training For Carers

Free Training for Informal/Unpaid Carers on Prevention of harm to adults we care for
Being a carer is a very responsible role – including ensuring that the adults cared for are not exposed to harm. However, harm can come from people that you trust – people who give support to your caring role, members of the public, friends or even other family members. Would YOU recognise harm and know how to deal with it?
Free training courses are available on Thursday 21st June at Dell Farquharson Centre, Dunfermline from 10am-1pm and on Friday 22nd June at The Lomond Centre, Glenrothes, from 10am-1pm.
The session is delivered in a relaxed and informal atmosphere (there will be time to get a tea/coffee as well as a chat with other carers). Training sessions are also available to organisations that support carers in Fife, and can be delivered at your organisation’s premises.
If you are a carer interested in attending a training session or would like one delivered in your area, contact
